Hi I would like to follow up to see if there has been any update regarding Anamorphic de-squeeze for viewing? If de-squeezed thumbnails are technically too difficult, what about video playback? 

No update yet I'm afraid, but it's absolutely something we want to implement, it just got pushed due to other priorities. Hopefully soon, but I can't promise anything for 1.8 or 1.9 yet

Hello guys.. it's been 4 years since the initial inquiry, have you guys made any headway towards desqueezing footage for playback?
