Kyno is now owned by Signiant, Inc. Signiant’s EULA for Kyno will apply to new licenses as well as to Kyno support services and updates that we may provide. In addition, Signiant’s global privacy policy will apply in each case where Signiant’s EULA for Kyno applies, as well as to any communications with us about Kyno. Read the full announcement.
I am considering a Standard license but have a question.
Does Final Cut actually incorporate metadata entered via Kyno as its own, or is it dependent on Kyno?
Let's suppose that I stop using Kyno. Will a Final Cut Project still have the same tags and keywords that I input in Kyno, or does it need Kyno to show this metadata?
Since writing the above, I've obtained an answer the question.

Great :-)
Just to confirm - whatever you've sent to Final Cut will remain in Final Cut. If you want to save everything you've done in Kyno you can export a FCPX XML file for example.
